Trent Hughes
Singer-songwriter Trent Hughes was born and raised in Colorado and now calls Windsor home. At 26, he blends fresh, original country music with a deep respect for its roots. His live shows often feature classic three-chord country, southern rock, and nods to legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, and Led Zeppelin. Whether he's rocking with a full band or stripped down with just his guitar, Hughes delivers with ease—and he's quickly making a name for himself with his hard-edged country style.
About Trent
From an early age, Trent Hughes had a deep passion for music. He would sing along to the radio whenever he could, soaking up the sounds that would shape his style. He picked up the guitar at age eleven and quickly discovered a love for performing and songwriting. By fourteen, he had formed his first band—and he's been playing to bigger and bigger crowds ever since.
Hughes’ pursuit of a musical career took a major step forward in November 2013, just before the CMA Awards, when he was invited to perform at The Stage, one of Nashville’s premier venues on Broadway. “There were musicians onstage who had played for Tyler Farr, Jerrod Niemann, and Josh Turner,” Hughes recalls. “It was crazy seeing how talented they all were.”
Now, Trent and his band are performing songs from his debut album, set to release in the summer of 2025. The album has been three years in the making and was engineered and produced by Grammy Award winner John Macy—a collaboration that’s sure to showcase the depth and edge of Trent’s evolving sound.

The 26-year-old embraces new original country music while honoring the past. A typical show of Hughes’ can include three-chord country, southern rock with hints of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, and other rock classics. However, Hughes is just as comfortable alone with his guitar as he is performing a high-energy full band set and is quickly becoming known for his hard-edge country style.
